For this, the franchise has spent Rs 119.90 crore. It is worth noting that Lucknow Super Giants used only 6 out of 8 slots for foreign players. Lucknow Supergiants have strengthened their team by buying many more attractive players along with Pant. The team management will hope that LSG manages to end the title drought in the upcoming season.

Rishabh Pant Became the Most Expensive Player
Lucknow Super Giants have made Indian wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant the most expensive player in IPL history. When Rishabh Pant’s name came among the marquee players, a fierce competition was seen between RCB and LSG. Then in the middle, SRH (Sunrisers Hyderabad) picked up the paddle and made the battle exciting.
Rishabh Pant’s bid stopped at Rs 20.75 crore. But then Delhi Capitals got a chance to use RTM. Lucknow Super Giants said that they are ready to pay Rs 27 crore for Pant. Hearing this, Delhi Capitals withdrew their hands and in this way Pant overtook Shreyas Iyer in a few minutes and became the most expensive player in IPL history.
